Invocations

There is an old saying that “you can’t have your cake and eat it too.” Which usually means that you cannot or should not have or want more than you deserve or is reasonable, or that you cannot or should not try to have two incompatible things. The proverb’s meaning is similar to the phrases “you can’t have it both ways” and “you can’t have the best of both worlds.”

It doesn’t happen very often, but when Super Moon, Blue Moon, and Lunar Eclipse all happen on the same day (January 31, 2018), it is a perfect time for magick to overcome seeming limitations, to ask for more than you deserve or what is reasonable, and to imagine that you could indeed somehow, some way, have the best of both worlds.

I am calling it the Once In A Blue Moon You Have Your Cake And Eat It Too Spell. This spell can be used during any Full Blue Moon.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • Bird Seed
  • Honey
  • Cornmeal
  • Coconut Oil
  • Wine or Spirits

The idea is to make a special cake, take it out into nature on the evening before. Offerings are made, prayers are said, and the cake is then left as a gift. By leaving it out on the evening before, the cake is charged by the energy of the moon and the night, as the new day dawns, this energy is dispersed into the world at large. It may take a fair amount of time for the spell to come to fruition, and a key element is that once the spell is made, it is released and forgotten.

Making The Cake

  • Setting Your Intention

Before you start with the actual spell, it is important to set your intention. What do you want to accomplish? What impossible, incompatible, impractical, unreasonable thing do you want?  Usually, when working magick, it’s important to be really specific, but in this case, generalities are fine. For example: I want to be happy. I want to be rich. I want true love. I want to be young again…

  • My Cup Runneth Over

“My Cup Runneth Over” is a quotation from the Hebrew Bible (Psalm 23:5) and means “I have more than enough for my needs.” How fun it would be to use this as a measurement for the first ingredient in our magickal moon cake.

With this in mind, pour a heaping cup of bird seed into a large bowl. This can be a tea cup, a coffee cup, or a measuring cup, the amount doesn’t have to be exact. The amount of bird seed will, however, determine the size of your cake.

Run your fingers through the seeds, and think about all the little things that would need to come together to make your wish come true.  Think also about how fertile a tiny seed is, what a powerful little package it is. Allow your fingers to fill the seeds with a sense of purpose. Your purpose.

  • Sweeten The Pot

The expression “sweeten the pot” means to make something more desirable. The expression originally comes from gambling; when players make new bets, they will sometimes say they are “sweetening the pot” as they throw chips in. This means the pot (i.e. the money that will be won by the person with the best hand) is larger and therefore more desirable to all players.

This spell is a bit of a gamble, and we do want our cake to be desirable. So now that we’ve filled all of our little seeds with a sense of purpose, it’s time to add the honey.

Pour enough honey into your bowl of seeds to coat each one. One or two tablespoons will probably be sufficient. It will depend on how much birdseed there is. You need just enough honey to turn your pile of dry seeds into a sticky ball.

  • Grease Some Palms

To grease someone’s palm, a phrase that dates from the early 16th century, is to bribe them. The metaphor comes from the idea of applying grease to a machine to make it run smoothly.  There is also a saying that “the squeaky wheel gets the grease” which conveys the idea that the most noticeable (or loudest) problems are the ones most likely to get attention.  The purpose is “to facilitate, expedite, ease, or aid something or some process; to make or help things run more smoothly or more easily.”

I love the idea of using Coconut Oil as our grease of choice, since coconuts grow on palm trees, and we’re greasing some palms. It will be easier to add it to our sticky ball if it’s been warmed up a bit and is in liquid form.

About a quarter of a cup should do if you’ve used about a cup of seeds, but you may need more. Be sure and rub some on the palms of your hands, maybe give some thought to the squeaky wheels that might need smoothing.

If your mixture of seeds and honey still seem soft and crumbly after adding the coconut oil, add more coconut oil, and then chill it for a little while. The coconut oil should solidify and even though it might be delicate, your cake should hold together pretty well. The chilling can be done either before or after the next step, which is adding the cornmeal.

  • Ripe For Harvest

What we plant in the soil of contemplation,
we shall reap in the harvest of action.
~Meister Eckhart

Corn, by its very nature is a sacred and vital plant. Its presence allows the people to live, thrive, grow and prosper. Because of this role, Corn Meal can be used to bless people, places, and objects. Imagine that whenever corn meal is used in this capacity that it is like a blanket of energy. It surrounds and marks the intended target with its powerful spirit, lending it gifts of vitality, fruitfulness, and rejuvenation. Keeping the idea of this blanket in mind, you can also see it as a mantle of sorts. When it is sprinkled over a person or object, that mantle is shared and covers the object, making it sacred as well.

With this in mind, spread a generous handful of cornmeal over your mixture. Shape it into a round moon shaped disk, covered completely with cornmeal, top and bottom. If the cake seems too soft, you can chill it in the freezer for a few minutes, this should solidify the coconut oil, and the cake will harden enough for gentle handling.

Performing The Ritual

For this you will need a place in nature to leave your cake. It will be best if you can leave it on a natural altar, such as a flat rock. If that is not available, you could leave it at the base of a tree, on a large round leaf, or in a circle of leaves, twigs, and/or small stones.

Begin at sunset, or just after dark. Place your cake on the altar of your choice. And then pour a circle of wine around it, and invoke the Powers, the Gods, and Spirits. Say:

From strong earth below me
To the wide sky above me
I call the Powers, the Gods,
Those in Spirit who love me.

I want my cake. I want to eat it too.
Here is one I made for you.

I thought I couldn’t ~ but maybe I could.
I thought I wouldn’t ~ but maybe I would.
I thought you can’t ~ but maybe you can
Make the impossible ~ a possible plan.

Now, in your own words explain what you are asking for.

Take a few moments to really feel the energy, and then say thank you, swipe your hands together twice to cut the connection, and walk away. Don’t look back.

Pow-wow is a unique creole of Christian theology and a shamanistic belief system. It is still practiced in some rural areas of Pennsylvania. In spite of the name, it is not of Native American derivation. It is believed to have been brought over to America by German immigrants who practiced folk-magic.

This is a collection of protective charms collected from a book written by a Pennsylvania Dutch healer in the 1820s. Wherever you see the symbol + + +  it indicates that you would then make the sign of the cross three times.

  • A charm to be carried about the person

Carry these words about you, and nothing can hurt you:

Ananiah, Azariah, and Missel, blessed be the Lord, for he has redeemed us from hell, and has saved us from death, and he has redeemed us out of the fiery furnace and has preserved us even in the midst of the fire; in the same manner may it please him the Lord that there be no fire.

There are three roses upon the heart of God; the first in beneficent, the other is omnipotent, the third is his holy will. You thieves must therefore stand under it, standing still as long as I will In the name of God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, you are conjured and made to stand.

  • A charm against fire-arms

Jesus passed over the Red Sea, and looked upon the land; and thus must break all ropes and bands, and thus must break all manner of fire-arms, rifles, guns, or pistols, and all false tongues be silenced. May the benediction of God on creating the first man always be upon me; the benediction spoken by God, when he ordered in a dream that Joseph and Mary together with Jesus should flee into Egypt, be, upon me always, and may the holy t be ever lovely and beloved in my right hand I journey through the country at large where no one is robbed, killed or murdered–where no one can do me any injury, and where not even a dog could bite me, or any other animal tear me to pieces. I (name) conjure ye guns, swords and knives, as well as all other kinds of arms, by the spear that pierced the side of God, and opened it so that blood and water could flow out, that ye do not injure me, a servant of God, in the + + +. I conjure ye, by Saint Stephen, who was stoned by the Virgin, that ye cannot injure me who am a servant of God, in the name of + + +. Amen.

  • Protection against all kinds of weapons

Jesus, God and man, do thou protect me against all manner of guns, fire-arms, long or short, of any kind of metal. Keep thou thy fire, like the Virgin Mary, who kept her fire both before and after her birth. May Christ bind up all fire-arms after the manner of his having bound up himself in humility while in the flesh. Jesus, do thou render harmless all arms and weapons, like unto the husband of Mary the mother of God, he having been harmless likewise. Furthermore, do thou guard the three holy drops of blood which Christ sweated on the Mount of Olives. Jesus Christ! do thou protect me against being killed and against burning fires. Jesus, do thou not suffer me to be killed, much less to be damned, without having received the Lord’s Supper. May God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, assist me in this. Amen.

  • A charm against shooting, cutting or thrusting

In the name of J. J. J. Amen. I (name); Jesus Christ is the true salvation; Jesus Christ governs, reigns, defeats and conquers every enemy, visible or invisible; Jesus, be thou with me at all times, forever and ever, upon all roads and ways, upon the water and the land, on the mountain and in the valley, in the house and in the yard, in the whole world wherever I am, stand, run, ride or drive; whether I sleep or wake, eat or drink, there be thou also, Lord Jesus Christ, at all times, late and early, every hour, every moment; and in all my goings in or goings out.

Those five holy red wounds, oh, Lord Jesus Christ, may they guard me against all fire-arms, be they secret or public, that they cannot injure me or do me any harm whatever, in the name of + + +.

May Jesus, with his guardianship and protection, shield me (name) always from daily commission of sins, worldly injuries and injustice, from contempt, from pestilence and other diseases, from fear, torture, and great suffering, from all evil intentions, from false tongues and old clatter-brains; and that no kind of fire-arms can inflict any injury to my body, do thou take care of me. + + +.

And that no band of thieves nor Gypsies, highway robbers, incendiaries, witches and other evil spirits may secretly enter my house or premises, nor break in; may the dear Virgin Mary, and all children who are in heaven with God, in eternal joys, protect and guard me against them; and the glory of God the Father shall strengthen me, the. wisdom of God the Son shall enlighten me, and the grace of God the Holy Ghost shall empower me from this hour unto all eternity. Amen.

  • To charm guns and other arms

The blessing which came from heaven at the birth of Christ be with me (name). The blessing of God at the creation of the first man be with me; the blessing of Christ on being imprisoned, bound, lashed, crowned so dreadfully, and beaten, and dying on the cross, be with me; the blessing which the Priest spoke over the tender, joyful corpse of our Lord Jesus Christ, be with me; the constancy of the Holy Mary and all the saints of God. of the three holy kings, Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar, be with me; the holy four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, be with me; the Archangels St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and St. Uriel, be with me; the twelve holy messengers of the Patriarchs and all the Hosts of Heaven, be with me; and the inexpressible number of all the Saints be with me. • To prevent being cheated, charmed or bewitched and to be at all times blessed

Like unto the cup and the wine, and the holy supper, which our dear Lord Jesus Christ gave unto his dear disciples on Maunday Thursday, may the Lord Jesus guard me in daytime, and at night, that no dog may bite me, no wild beast tear me to pieces, no tree fall on me, no water rise against me, no fire-arms injure me, no weapons, no steel, no iron, cut me, no fire burn me, no false sentence fall upon me, no false tongue injure me, no rogue enrage me, and that no fiends, no witchcraft and enchantment can harm me. Amen.

  • Different directions to effect the same

The Holy Trinity guard me, and be and remain with me on the water and upon the land, in the water or in the fields, in cities or villages, in the whole world wherever I am. The Lord Jesus Christ protect me against all my enemies, secret or public; and may the Eternal Godhead also guard me through the bitter sufferings of Jesus Christ; his holy rosy blood, shed on the cross, assist me, J. J. Jesus has been crucified, tortured and died.

These are true words, and in the same way must all words be efficacious which are here put down, and spoken in prayer by me. This shall assist me that 1 shall not be imprisoned, bound or overcome by anyone. Before me all guns or other weapons shall be of no use or power. Fire-arms, hold your fire in the almighty hand of God. Thus all fire-arms shall be charmed. + + +

When the right hand of the Lord Jesus Christ was fastened to the tree, of the cross; like unto the Son of the Heavenly Father who was obedient unto death, may the Eternal Godhead protect me. by the rosy blood, by the five holy wounds on the tree of the cross; and thus must I be blessed and well protected like the cup and the wine, and the genuine true bread, which Jesus Christ gave to his disciples on the evening of Maunday Thursday. J. J. J.

  • Another similar direction

The grace of God and his benevolence he with me (N). I shall now ride or walk out; and I will gird about my loins with a sure ring. So it pleases God, the Heavenly Father, he will protect me, my flesh and blood, and all my arteries and during this day and night which I have before me; and however numerous my enemies may be, they must be dumbstruck, and all become like a dead man, white as snow, so that no one will be able to shout, cut or throw at me, or to overcome me, although he may hold rifle or steel against whomever else evil weapons and arms might be called, in his hand.

My rifle shall go off like lightening, and my sword shall cut as a razor. Then wen our dear lady Mary upon a very high mountain; she looked down into a very dusky valley and beheld her dear child standing amidst the Jews, harsh, very harsh, because he was bound so harsh, because he was bound so hard; and therefore may the dear Lord Jesus Christ save me from all that is injurious to me. + + + Amen.

  • Another similar direction

There walk out during this day and night, that thou mayest not let any of my enemies,, or thieves, approach me, if they do not intend to bring me what was spent from the holy altar. Because God the Lord Jews is ascended into heaven in his living body. O Lord, this is good for me this day and night. + + + Amen.

  • Another one like it

In the name of God I walk out. God the Father be with me, and God the Holy Ghost be by my side. Who ever is stronger than these three persons may approach my body and my life; yet whoso is not stronger than these three would much better let me be. J. J. J.

  • Another one like it

I conjure thee, sword, sabre or knife, that mightest injure or harm me, by the priest of all prayers, who had gone into the temple at Jerusalem, and said: An edged sword shall pierce your soul that you may not injure me, who am a child of God.

  • A very effective charm

I (name) conjure thee, sword or knife, as well as all other weapons, by that spear which pierced Jesus’ side, and opened it to the gushing out of blood and water, that he keep me from injury as one of the servants of God. + + + Amen.

  • A very safe and reliable charm

The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with me [name]. Oh shot, stand still! in the name of the mighty prophets Agtion and Elias, and do not kill me! oh shot, stop short. I conjure you by heaven and earth, and by the last judgment, that you do no harm unto me, a child of God. + + +

  • A good charm against thieves

There are three lilies standing upon the grave of the Lord our God; the first one is the courage of God, the other is the blood of God, and the third one is the will of God. Stand still, thief! No more than Jesus Christ stepped down from the cross, no more shalt thou move from this spot; this I command thee by the four evangelists and elements of heaven, there in the river, or in the shot, or in the judgment, or in the sight. Thus I conjure you by the last judgment to stand still and not to move, until I see all the stars in heaven and the sun rises again. Thus I stop by running and jumping and command it in the name of + + +. Amen.

This must be repeated three times.

  • A well-tried charm

Three holy drops of blood have passed down the holy cheeks of the Lord God, and these three holy drops of blood are placed before the touchhole. As surely as our dear lady was pure from all men, as surely shall no fire or smoke pass out of this barrel. Barrel, do thou give neither fire, nor flame, nor heat. Now I will walk out, because the Lord God goeth before me; God the Son is with me, and God the Holy Ghost is about me forever.

  • Another well-tried charm against fire-arms

Blessed is the hour in which Jesus Christ was born; blessed is the hour in which Jesus Christ was born; blessed is the hour in which Jesus Christ was born; blessed is the hour in which Jesus Christ has arisen from the dead; blessed are these three hours over thy gun, that no shot or ball shall fly toward me, and neither my skin, nor my hair, nor my blood, nor my flesh be injured by them, and that no kind of weapon or metal shall do me any harm, so surely as the Mother of God shall not bring forth another son. + + +. Amen.

  • In conclusion

In conclusion the following morning prayer is given, which is to be spoken before entering upon a journey. It protects against all manner of bad luck.

Oh, Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews, yea, a King over the whole world, protect me [name] during this day and night, protect me at all times by thy five holy wounds, that I may not be seized and bound. The Holy Trinity guard me, that no gun, fire-arm, ball or lead, shall touch my body; and that they shall be weak like the tears and bloody sweat of Jesus Christ, in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Amen.

From: Pow-Wows, or Long Lost Friend, by John George Hoffman, [1820]

From Pow-Wows, or Long Lost Friend, by John George Hoffman, [1820], we have a morning prayer to be spoken before starting on a journey, which will save the person from all mishaps.

I (here the name is to be pronounced) will go on a journey to-day; I will walk upon God’s way, and walk where God himself did walk, and our dear Lord Jesus Christ, and our dearest Virgin with her dear little babe, with her seven rings and her true things. Oh, thou! my dear Lord Jesus Christ, I am thine own, that no dog may bite me, no wolf bite me, and no murderer secretly approach me; save me, O my God, from sudden death! I am in God’s hands, and there I will bind myself. In God’s hands I am by our Lord Jesus’ five wounds, that any gun or other arms may not do me any more harm than the virginity of our Holy Virgin Mary was injured by the favor of her beloved Jesus. After this say three Lord’s prayers, the Ave Maria, and the articles of faith.

Find a quiet place, light a candle if you wish, and then begin the following chant. Chant until you begin to feel a deep connection to the Goddess. Then be silent. Your guidance will come.

Speak to Me
Speak to me,
Speak to me Goddesses.
Speak to me,
Speak to me all the Gods.

~ by Phoenix

This one is cool because what you do is insert the actual names of the goddesses, gods, and whomever you are invoking. For example: Hekate, Diana, Isis, Gaia, Ancestors, your choice.

Group Chants are one of the most effective (and fun!) ways of raising energy, especially when combined with dancing, stylized movement, gestures, and swaying. Some of the most popular chants are those taken from Amerindian sources, such as:

I am the Circle,
I am Healing you,
You are the Circle
You are healing me,
Unite Us
Be One
Unite Us
Be as One.
We are at one
With the Infinite Sun
Forever, Forever, Forever

Such chants as these express and reinforce a sense of belonging, both between immediate group members, and with the wider world or universe. Chants tend to build up slowly, and pick up speed as people feel the growing rhythm and pulse of the words and beat, which “carries” people along – it is easy to get so caught up in the chant that you begin to enter a trance state – but don’t just take my word for it – try it out!

The Darksome Night and Shining Moon chant of Wicca is another good example of a group chant – especially when each line is chanted by a different group member. The words of the chant serve to resume the central concepts of Wicca – the four elemental directions, the magical weapons, and the complementary natures of Goddess and God, Darkness and Light.

From: The Magical Use of Voice

In the most commonly used form of chants, each member of the group repeats the entire verse. However, the “Spinning Mantra” differs in that one member intones the first line of the chant, the next person, the second line, and so on. One note can be used throughout, with the same syllables stressed in each line.

Another variant is to start the Spinning Mantra off, and have the members of the group wander around, stopping briefly in front of each other to chant their lines. This can be very disorienting, but is very effective if performed with a large group.

Try it with this magick chant for power and protection:

“I call upon the Powerful, Cosmic Guardians.
I call upon the Ones who bring Power and Strength to those who believe.
I am a dynamic living Electro-Magnetic Force.
I am Positive.
I have a Strong Will.
I am Fearless – Absolutely fearless!
Nothing can Harm me.
I am the Master of my Destiny.
I Surround myself with a Mental Atmosphere of Protection.
No Harm can penetrate this Positive Armor.
Those would harm me shall be Powerless.
Their negative energy shall return to them a Thousandfold.
I am Strong.
I am safe.
I am Positive,
I am Powerful.
As I say
So shall it be.

This ritual combined with this chant can be very powerful. For best results each participant should have a copy of the chant and a chance to practice their lines. The idea is to repeat the chant over and over allowing the energy to build.

From: The Magical Use of Voice and various other sources

Just for the purposes of discussion, I want to distinguish between ‘ordinary’ speaking and ‘sacred’ speech. Sacred speech, in this context, refers to those occasions when we are using speech (probably combined with other modes of display) to bring about a magical change – such as in inducing group trance, communing with spirits, being a horse, raising energy, and so on.

At these times, the way in which we deliver speech is different from our usual habits of talking in that there may be an enhanced deliberateness in our enunciation, or greater care taken in projecting the subtle nuances of emotion – awe, ecstasy, gentleness or martial ardour.

Whether our words well up, unbidden, from the Deep Mind, or have been carefully linked together in prolonged brainstorming sessions, it is highly likely that we will try and find a certain distinct rhythm around which to frame our words.

The Deep Mind often speaks to us in verse. Cross-cultural studies of the vocal patterns of people in the throes of possession show a striking similarity, that of a rising and falling intonation at the end of each phrase, with each phrase punctuated by a pause or groan. This pattern emerges regardless of native language and cultural background.

The English version of this rhythm is known as Iambic Pentameter. You can hear it also in the frenzied oratorical deliveries of evangelical preachers and in the apparently meaningless gush of words and phrases from those who have been seized by the ‘Holy Spirit’. It wells forth from the Deep Mind as unconscious or deity-inspired poetry and communications.

People who are overshadowed by a deity during ritual often seem to stumble over their words, as though they are trying to fit their words around the rhythms of the trance. I would conjecture that the more complete the spirit-possession, the less laboured the sacred speech, as the persons self-awareness’ will be all the more completely submerged by that of the entity.

As the Deep Mind calls to us with a particular rhythm and meter, so do we attempt to call into the depths of our being by rhythmically pulsing our speech. Sound, like light, sets up rhythms in our brains, as experiments with electro-encephalographs (EEGs) have shown. These internal rhythms reflect the sounds which propel us into varying degrees of trance, whether it is the gentle, watery lapping of the Moon or the thundering frenzy of Pan.

If we are caught off-guard, and susceptible, their effect can be devastating. J.F. Hurley, in his book, “Sorcery”, describes a trance condition known in the Philippines as Lata, which is brought on by a startling sound, after which susceptible people will imitate actions that they see or words that they hear. Philippino head-hunters took advantage of this susceptibility by paralysing their victims by using sharp, piercing cries.

This sort of talent appears in many cultures and settings. Pat Crowther, writing in her book “Lid Off The Cauldron”, mentions ‘calls’ which, when used in open spaces, can draw the unwary to the caller. Forcefully projected, stattaco hissing noises, reinforced by jerking body movements, can also precipitate trance.

Peter Redgrove, in his short novel, “The God of Glass”, makes use of the syllable SATATATAT, which, when chanted, at the same time as whirling around, produces in its initiates a disassociation, which culminates in a bee-hum – the Om of ultimate being.

Day of the Eclipse…a Greek Myth Made Ritual

Today’s colors are black and white. Upon a black cloth set incense, a lantern with a bright flame, and two necklaces of figs strung together, one of dark figs and one of light ones. On this day of magickal possibilities lets purify some evil thing from your life. As darkness overwhelms us let it be the darkness that steals our mind and heart…as the light comes back in the world, so too should light cleanse your soul and body. During the eclipse there should be fasting.

Eclipse Invocation

Long ago on days as this
The people chose two from the crowd,
One man and one youth
Coupled in life
Who had incurred their wrath,
Or were sinners, or merely ugly,
And they paid them gold in the name of Apollo
Bright God of the Sun
Whose rath the city must invoked
To steal their light from the sky
Apollo, he whose other face
Is the ravening wolf Lycaon.
They fed them, marched them around
The boundaries of the city,
And then drove them out
Pelted with figs and squills,
With all the sins of the city on their backs.
And soon the light returned
And the city felt blessed
And comforted in their action
Yet sins are not so easily driven out.
To lay them on a human back
Is too easy, and we do not walk the easy path.
So on this day we cast out the sins
Of the house, the family, the community,
Yet we each take responsibility for those sins,
And as dark returns to light
We admit that we are each the Pharmakoi
A scapegoat, but of our own actions
And that none of us can lay that on another.

Chant:
Pharmakoi Pharmakoi
We cast you from our home

*All lay hands upon the fig wreaths and speak what sins they would cast out and be rid of. They are then carried outside to be thrown on a fire and burned, and the ashes turned into the compost heap or scattered about the garden.

A spiritual illness can be felt in a variety of ways. There may be a feeling of being totally drained, usually a result of depression (which is an illness of the spirit as well as of the mind), there may be addictions, there may be a string of bad luck, poor social relationships etc. Spiritual illness can also produce physical illness.

If it is you that is suffering from this illness, cast a circle and then visualize white light streaming from above into you. You should be able to feel this light like a warm wave of love. It is the love of The Goddess and of the spirits of your ancestors and guardians that you carry with you always.

Concentrate on realizing that you are a Star of God sent into this world for spiritual experience and that the difficulties you are experiencing are only temporary and are a necessary part of your journey to spiritual enlightenment.

Incantation:

Great Goddess and all you spirits of love that surround me,
bring me blessings.

Be with me now and forever.

If this healing is for someone else, you will of course have to persuade them to be involved in this – if the person is a big cynic, this can be a difficult task, so perhaps one of the other healing spells would be a better choice. But if the person is into it, cast a circle, then, as before, visualize white light streaming from above, into your head, and through your body. Then lay your hands (which will probably have a slight to moderate tingling feeling) on the person and send the energy flowing into them.

Incantation:

You are filled with the white light of The God/dess.
You are a Star of God.
You are surrounded by loving spirits.
Great God/dess and all you spirits of love that surround (person’s name), bring him/her blessings.
Be with him/her, now and forever.

GEMEGANZA DE-NOAN CHIIS GOSAA
ZAMICMAGE OLEOL AG-SAPAH ARPHE
ORESA ETHAMZ TAA TABEGISOROCH
ZODINU AR ZURAH PAREMU
ZODIMIBE PAPNORGE MANINUA
ZONAC DODSIH HOXMARCH TRIAN
AMONONS PARE DAS NIIS KURES

Translated:

Visible only by will, I blind and make deaf all others who may see or hear me.
A darkness shall cover them like that at the bottom of the ocean,
and they shall leave immediately.
Forgetfulness will envelop their minds and anxiety grip their hearts
should they come to interrupt us in our work.

The operators then see the smoky darkness dissipate as all that is within the working area begins to “fold”. The unfolding process is completed by laughter whilst spinning quickly deosil, high speed, to a full stop.

Being A Witch

We should educate people that ‘Witch’ is not evil but ancient and positive. The first time I called myself a ‘Witch’ was the most magical moment of my life.
