Abundance

This is a nice little spell that will draw money and prosperity to you. Here’s how it works.

You will need:

  • 1 green candle
  • 1 penny
  • 1 nickel
  • 1 dime
  • 1 quarter
  • 1 small magnet
  • 9 fish hooks
  • 5 teaspoons basil, dried
  • 5 teaspoons orange peel, dried
  • Green bottle with a cork.

Note: The mouth of the bottle must be wide enough to accommodate a quarter, and if you can’t find a green bottle, you can paint one green. Nail polish adheres very well to glass, and if you can find something with a gold sparkle in it.. that’s even better!

Instructions:

Place all of the materials in front of the candle and light the wick. Put the coins in the bottle one at a time while saying something like:

Penny, nickel, quarter, dime
Multiply in double time

Drop the magnet in and say:

Magnet,
Draw the cash to me.

Drop the hooks in one at a tie and say:

Hooks,
Grab it tight as it can be.

Sprinkle the spices over the top and say:

Spices, do your thing as well
To make this money grow and swell

Then offer the bottle to the Sun and say:

And Sun, shine brightly on this stash
To keep the flow of ready cash
Coming toward me every day
By my command, do as I say.

Using the candle, drop a bit of melted wax on the edges of the cork, and push the cork firmly into the bottle to seal it. Say something like:

By magnet and hook, by spice and coin
The fibers of the spell now join
By color of money, by light of the Sun
The magick of this spell is spun
By melted wax, this spell is sealed
Cash charm you are ~ Cash you shall yield.

Leave the bottle in front of the candle until the wick extinguishes itself, then place the bottle in a sunny spot in your home ~ a windowsill works well ~ where the golden rays of the Sun will shine on it each day.

Aloe Vera is thought by the people of Africa to bring good luck to those who possess it. To create some good fortune of your own, place an Aloe Vera plant on your altar. Place pieces of agate in various places around the aloe plant, and place a yellow candle in front of the plant. Inscribe the words “To bring good luck” on the candle, and repeat the following verse while lighting the candle:

My home is a garden,
Surrounded by a wall of luck,
And made on peculiar ground.
This is a spot enclosed by grace,
Out of the reach of the world’s negativity
And surrounded by fortune’s flame.

Allow the candle to burn in a safe place until it extinguishes itself.

There is a powerful Buddhist ritual that addresses the popular aspiration to get rich. The practice involves offering a light stream of water over the head of the Dzambhala symbolized by its image. The White Dzambhala is a wealth granting aspect of the Compassionate Buddha and in this form sits on a turquoise dragon, surrounded by four dakinis each signifying a Buddhist cosmic family and a compass direction. Dakinis are powerful female angels who help Dzambhala bring riches into the lives of those who do the water ritual daily while reciting their mantras.

It is important to generate an altruistic intention when doing this practice. When your desire to become rich is only to benefit yourself, it deprives the practice of much power. When your aspiration is fueled by your great desire to help others however, the ritual takes on much added power. Even when your motivation is inspired by your great wish to benefit your loved ones, this is far better than just thinking of yourself.

Thus for those needing the money to fund their children’s education, to buy a house for the family, to pay for hospital bills for instance… and you think through these needs of yours before doing the ritual then, it will establish a good and pure motivation that really adds great strength to the practice.

The Preparations

Firstly, get an image of the White Dzambhala. Commit the image of Dzambhala to memory. Notice that White Dzambhala is sitting on a turquoise dragon and is carrying a white trident in one hand and a banner in another.

Secondly, get images of the four Dakinis. These are beautiful offering Goddesses from the four Buddhist families, each of whom live in a different direction. From the East comes blue coloured Vajra Dakini who holds a thunderbolt in her right hand; from the South comes Ratna Dakini who holds a jewel in her right hand; from the West comes Padma Dakini and she holds a lotus in her right hand; and from the North comes green coloured Karma Dakini who holds a sword in her right hand. Commit the images of the dakinis to memory to aid you in your visualizations as you recite their mantra.

Thirdly set up your crystal bowl in which you place an inverted glass to place a flat surface on which you place White Dzambhala in the center surrounded by the four dakinis.

Finally prepare a jug of fresh water filled to the brim; it should have a thin spout from which you will pour water over White Dzambhala’s crown as you recite his mantra. Do this pouring slowly and with great loving gentleness.

Mantra Practice

Begin by generating a good motivation… then start reciting the mantra of White Dzambhala:

Om Padma Krodha Arya
Dzambhala Hridaya Hum Phat

As you recite, start offering the water on the head of Dzambhala. Do this slowly but steadily and note that it should be a fine stream of water. As you pour the water with your right hand, snap the fingers of your left hand in front of your heart and recite the mantra a minimum of seven times and preferably 108 times. If you have a rosary of 108 mala beads, use this and make it your designated mala for doing this practice. At times when you are in a rush, you can recite 21 or 28 times.

The Visualization

As you recite the Dzambhala mantra and pour the water on his head, think that from the mouth of the Dragon and from the mouth of Dzambhala’s mongoose come an unceasing flow of wish-fulfilling jewels and dollar notes, millions and millions of dollars. The flow of wealth comes like beautiful water falling down from the mountains. Think that Dzambhala is experiencing great bliss from the water so he promises to help you by bringing big wealth for your family and your business.

The Four Dakinis

Next you must turn your attention to the four dakinis. If there is any water left, you can also pour over the heads of the dakini images. If not, then all you need to do is to recite the mantras of the four dakinis as follows. Recite 21 sets of these mantras.

Om Vajra dakini hum phat
Om Ratna dakini hum phat
Om Padma dakini hum phat
Om Karma dakini hum phat
Sarwa Siddhi hum

Dedications

When you have finished reciting all the mantras, it is important to dedicate the practice and the ritual just performed to your family and to the success of all your financial aspirations. The water used for the ritual can be used to make tea or to pour over plants or into your fish tanks or water features…

You can also place a White Dzambhala image under the falling water in a small waterfall. Place this in the North, East or Southeast of your living area… and keep the water flowing through the day. You can turn off the waterfall in the night. If you have such a waterfall in the house, it is also a good idea to recite the mantra 21 times in front of the waterfall, as this creates the great merit of invoking Dzambhala’s assistance for the family or the business. You can also create this water feature in your office.

Combine the following ingredients, empowering them one by one by stating aloud the specific function each will perform.

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (victory, success, to win favor of the Gods)
  • 5 cloves (command and compel)
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest (symbolizing gold and prosperity)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (luck)
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg ((luck)
  • 3 drops pine essential oil (ward off negativity)

Bless the ingredients on your altar. Let the mixture rest in a dark area for a week. Take it out once a day, shake it, and then return it.

If possible, charge this potion under a full moon during its week of rest, to magnify the magical properties it contains. (The power of a full moon is present for three days before and three days after the actual night of the full moon.) After a week, add the mixture to a bucket of warm, clear water for washing.

A  floorwash technically refers to the final rinse used to clean a floor or other interior surfaces. It should not be removed but allowed to air-dry, so that its power radiates into the surrounding atmosphere. In other words, the floor should be clean before applying the floor wash.

Traditional methods call for you to scrub the floor on your hands and knees. The repetitive motion and low concentration level needed allow for a shift in consciousness to take place. Incorporating a chant as you wash will boost the powers of the wash and help your goal to manifest even faster. Remember to be as specific as possible in the wording of your chant.

  • Important note:

This wash seems to have the side effect of making those who come into contact with it hungry. It smells wonderful.

For this spell you will need to collect seven different types of money. For example: one of each of the following: penny, nickle, dime, quarter, fifty cent piece, dollar bill, and five dollar bill.

Next, collect seven different types of beans. For example: one each of the following: kidney bean, lima bean, black-eyed pea, garbanzo bean, soy bean, pinto bean, lentil.

NOTE: You can use any type of currency, and any kind of beans, as long as you have seven different types of money and seven different types of beans.

Place the money and the beans into a mojo bag. (Any small cloth or leather bag will be fine.) Write your financial desire onto a bit of brown paper and anoint it with money drawing oil, or dust it with Cinnamon. Place it in the bag with the beans and the money..

Close the bag and carry it with you every day, and sleep with it under your pillow every night until your desire has been fullfilled. When your desire is fulfilled, give the  money away to seven different people, and bury the beans in seven different places. Then burn the piece of paper while giving thanks.

Anybody can use some extra cash, especially if it means being able to buy a particular item, save for a vacation, or simply to kick back and enjoy a night out on the town. A great way to manifest a desired amount of money is to write yourself a New Moon Check.

As in the graphic above, it’s a check you write to yourself in the amount you want to create or manifest. It’s a New Moon Check because you write it during the first 24 hours of a new moon, when manifesting magick is strongest.

Before you begin writing your check, think about how much you might want to create, whether it’s based on meeting your financial obligations, or for something that is purely recreational. The general rule of thumb is to write the check for an amount you truly believe to be possible to manifest. For example, if you wrote your check for one million dollars, but yet, you have strong beliefs that that is not possible, that one million dollars will probably take a very long time to manifest in your life, most likely only after you have worked through any limiting beliefs. Therefore, if you want to see results quickly, it would be wisest to ask for a reasonable amount of money.

Try not to think of yourself as needing this amount of money, as needing often implies lack; instead, imagine this amount of money as adding to your prosperity. Imagine that you already have the amount of money you are manifesting, right this second. What would you do with it? How do you feel with this money in your life? Play it out in your imagination with as much detail as possible. Imagine these feelings of joy and prosperity to radiate out into the Universe. As you do this, you are becoming magnetic to whatever it is you focus upon.

Finally, when you’re done, hold your check in your hands and surround it with white light, and then release it fully and completely. It’s important not to hold any attachments to the results of this exercise; simply acknowledge that the money will begin flowing into your life immediately thereafter, and trust that the Universe will find the easiest way to do so.

Put your check somewhere safe and try not to think about it for the next 28 days. During this time, be especially alert to opportunities that come your way, and pay attention to your intuition, as it can guide you to your money sooner. You also want to acknowledge any money that comes your way with gratitude, including any expected income; this will send messages to the Universe that you are ready to receive even more of what you have.

When the next new moon comes, take your check out and review how much money you have received in the past 28 days. If you managed to manifest the amount you wrote in the check, congratulations! If not, write yourself another check and repeat the process until you do manifest successfully.

On a day during the new or waxing moon, take 5 one dollar bills, arrange them in a fan shape. Each bill should be face up and they should all be facing the same direction.

Put them under the doormat at your front door. Place them, with the fanned (widest) side facing inward. Sprinkle cinnamon over them and say:

Money in, money out
Money is my friend.
Money comes, money goes
Money comes again.

Each time visitors, family, and friends come to your home they will enliven this spell. Leave the money there for as long as you like. If you decide to refresh it, do so only on the new moon, and if you decide to remove it, do so only on the full moon or you may cause unexpected cash flow problems.

On any day or evening from the new to full moon, sit quietly and close your eyes. Relax. See yourself as the energy of prosperity. Be the energy of prosperity. Chant, or repeat in your mind:

Circle, circle, round round;
round round, circle round.

Calm and center yourself, thinking of yourself as the energy of success and prosperity. BE the energy of prosperity. This spell is a terrific one to do anytime, and is especially helpful when those financial worries start to get you down.

Silver’s Spells for Prosperity

Three nights before the cycle of the full moon, you should begin this three-day spell to remove the negative energy preventing abundance from coming your way. Repeat the following ritual bath on each of the three days leading up to the full moon with the last day being on the day the full moon starts. You should use the same candles for each of the three ritual baths.

The Ritual Bath:

To a warm bath, add money bath salts, which are made from a variety of formulas but generally have a strong patchouli scent. Light some general candles around the bath to reach the ambient lighting you prefer. Imagine a soft white light entering through your head and feet to cleanse the negativity from you. Focus on this goal as you enter the bath. Relax and meditate on the obstacles and stresses in your life melting away into the water.

As you drain the water from the tub, your negativity will follow the water down the drain.

Next, cast a circle and light a God and Goddess candle and place it upon your altar. Also place on the altar a green pillar candle that you have anointed with lodestone oil. Visualize your financial goals as already achieved. Put all of your energy into the candle. Finally, rub the candle down with a mixture of cinnamon and cloves. Light the candle and burn money incense while focusing on your goals.

Repeat this ritual for three days so that the last day is upon the full moon.

Kitchen Magick

Prosperity Magick can be as simple as making soup. The key is to make the soup as if it was a magickal recipe. Imagine that everything you are doing is a metaphor for creating the life you would like to have.

For example:

Dicing the onion might make your eyes water, just as sometimes in life there are tears. The root vegetables speak of getting to the “root” of the matter, pulling out all the stops, getting back to basics, going deep… etc. The apple is the partaking of knowledge, or the harvest. Think about each ingredient and what it represents to you, and how it might bring you the prosperity you want to create.

The Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 large Yellow Beets, peeled and cubed
  • 1 small-medium carrot, chopped
  • 1 small potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1 bay leaf (opt)
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 large tart apple, cubed
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt and pepper to taste

For Garnish:

  • Toasted bread crumbs or crushed croutons

Preparing the Soup:

As you cook the soup, consider how it may take some time for things to really come together for you in a good way. Create a chant, or use the one below, while you stir the soup, and imagine that you are stirring up all sorts of new deliciousness for your life.

Directions:

Heat the oil in a medium to large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and saute briefly until fragrant.

Add the beets, carrot, potato, bay leaf, and 1 cup of the broth. Turn down to a simmer at medium heat and allow to cook for about ten to fifteen minutes, or until the beets are tender.

Add the apple and 1 more cup of broth. Continue to cook for a few minutes until the apple is tender, about five more minutes. Remove the bay leaf (if using) and add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Puree in with an immersion blender or in batches if using a tabletop blender.

Pour through a fine mesh strainer as you return the soup to the pot. Reserve the strained beets for a dumpling filler or yummy sandwich spread for later. Reheat the soup for about two minutes and serve.

While Stirring The Soup:

All things good, delicious and fine
Come together for me and are mine
I share with all who have a need
Because I know I will succeed.
Blessings to the earth.
Blessings to the sky.
Blessings on the soup and me and mine.

Serving the Soup:

When spooned into each bowl add some warmed milk or cream and swirl lightly with a spoon or chop stick to get a pretty spiral design. Top with croutons.

Take in each spoonful with gratitude. Savor the moment.
