Water

You would be surprised by the amount of negative energy that lives in your home. The more you refuse to let go and remove it, the worse you will feel.

When our homes are overwhelmed with negative energies we will feel stressed and uneasy on a much deeper level than normal. That being said, removing those negative energies is a lot simpler than you might think. To be completely honest, getting rid of them is a lot easier than preventing them from entering your home.

Below you will find the best method I have found in more recent times in regards to removing negative energies. This is easy and effective if you are dealing with what you think are negative energies this is worth trying. If after the first day you don’t notice a change, negative energies might not be the problem you are facing.

Sea Salt Water Room Cleanse

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Vinegar
  • 2/3 Tablespoons of Sea Salt
  • 1 Full Glass of Water
  • 4 Drops of White Sage Oil

Note: Frankincense or clove oil can be substituted if need be

Instructions:

First, pour the sea salt into your empty glass and fill the glass with the water. Once you have done this add in the vinegar and then the white sage oil. You do not have to mix this, just leave it as it is and place it in your room or make multiple glasses and place one in each room for a full house cleanse. Leave each glass for a full 24 hours and then check to see if you notice a difference in appearance. Be sure no one has moved or even touched the glass at all.

If the water has not changed at all, then that room is clear of negative energy but if it has changed be it in color or just a slight texture difference that is observable pour the glass outside at least a good ten feet from your home and do this again in the same room until you no longer notice a difference. Usually, in rooms with lots of negative energies, you may have to do it for a full week. This works because the white sage oil is able to remove negativity and the other ingredients work together to amplify this, sea salt also works to absorb the negative energies being pushed into it. All of these things make up a wonderful negative energy fighting team.

Now, the reason why we do not flush this water or merely wash it down the sink is because when you do that you are leaving residual negative energies behind in the pouring process. By taking the glass of negativity outside and pouring it away from your home you are removing the negativity completely and giving it back to Mother Earth so that she can transform it into something positive on her own time. I also would suggest bringing a fresh glass of clean water with a positive affirmation over it to pour on top to ensure that the negative energies begin their transformation quickly.

I hope that this helped you in some way. While it may sound a bit crazy I promise you this has worked wonders in my home. I did this for a full week and now my home feels much more open and less tense. Once you do this I strongly recommend doing it once a month as to continue to remove negative energies so that they do not get built up to that same degree again. What do you think, will you be giving this a try?

Here is a simple spell using the cleansing, purifying power of rain:

With water colors or chalk, draw or write the bad habit on a piece of paper. Immediately take it out into the rain. Let the rain dissolve and disperse the water colors or chalk. So shall your habit dissolve, cleansed by the sanctifying rain.

A Norwegian or Swedish peasant when he wishes to become a werewolf, kneels by the side of a lycanthropous stream at midnight, having chosen a night when the moon is in the full, chants these words:

“Tis night! Tis night!
And the moon shines white over pine and snow capped hill.
The shadows stray through burn and brae
and dance in the sparkling rill.”
Tis night! Tis night!
And the devils light casts glimmering beams around.
The maras dance, the nisses prance
on the flower enameled ground.”
Tis night! Tis night!
And the the werewolf’s might makes man and nature shiver.
Yet its fierce grey head and stealthy tread are nought to thee,
oh river!
River, River, River
Oh water strong, that swirls along I prithee a werewolf make me.
Of all things dear, my soul, I swear,
In death shall not forsake thee.”

The supplicant then strikes the banks of the river three times with his forehead; then dips his head into the river thrice, at each dip gulping down a mouthful of the water.

Concludes ceremony, he has become a werewolf, and twenty-four hours later will undergo the first metamorphosis.

What is Lycanthropus water?

Lycanthropous water is said, by those who dwell near to it, to differ from other water in subtle details only, detail that would, in all probability, escape the notice of all who were not connoisseurs of the superphysical.

A strange, faint odor, comparable with nothing, distinguishes lycanthropous water; there is a lurid sparkle in it, strongly suggestive of some peculiar, individual life; the noise it makes, as it rushes along, so closely resembles the muttering and whispering of human voices as to be often mistaken for them; whilst at night it sometimes utters piercing screams, and howls, and groans in such a manner as to terrify all who pass near it.

Dogs and horses, in particular, are susceptible to its influence and they exhibit the greatest signs of terror of the mere sound of it.

If anyone in the home should fall sick, take a crystal bowl filled with well-water and wash the hands and the face of the patient with it. Then, carry it to the garden door, and call for the cat of the household. When she appears, say to her:

Cat spirit, bright as sixpence,
Chase the devil a long long distance.
His soul I hold in these drops of water ~
May he be routed before next moon’s quarter.

Then you must throw the water away onto the garden, so that it passes over the cat but does not fall on her. She will, as likely as not, run away as if in pursuit of some spirit, and for this you must thank her three times over by using her magickal name.

In throwing the water over her to the ground, you have created the magickal veil of Isis, which summons the demon of the illness and draws it away from your loved one so that the cat may carry it away from the house.

Before the next moon’s quarter, that is, before a week has passed away, the one who has fallen sick should be on the mend.

As you do the washing – floors, front door, porch steps, windows, etc… focus on what it is that you are wishing for.

Combine the following ingredients, empowering them one by one by stating aloud the specific function each will perform.

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (victory, success, to win favor of the Gods)
  • 5 cloves (command and compel)
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest (symbolizing gold and prosperity)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (luck)
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg ((luck)
  • 3 drops pine essential oil (ward off negativity)

Bless the ingredients on your altar. Let the mixture rest in a dark area for a week. Take it out once a day, shake it, and then return it.

If possible, charge this potion under a full moon during its week of rest, to magnify the magical properties it contains. (The power of a full moon is present for three days before and three days after the actual night of the full moon.) After a week, add the mixture to a bucket of warm, clear water for washing.

A  floorwash technically refers to the final rinse used to clean a floor or other interior surfaces. It should not be removed but allowed to air-dry, so that its power radiates into the surrounding atmosphere. In other words, the floor should be clean before applying the floor wash.

Traditional methods call for you to scrub the floor on your hands and knees. The repetitive motion and low concentration level needed allow for a shift in consciousness to take place. Incorporating a chant as you wash will boost the powers of the wash and help your goal to manifest even faster. Remember to be as specific as possible in the wording of your chant.

  • Important note:

This wash seems to have the side effect of making those who come into contact with it hungry. It smells wonderful.

Items you’ll need:

  • Floating candles
  • A large bowl
  • Water
  • Matches
  • A pen

Create sacred space with candles, sage smudging, and setting up altars with powerful totems, or items of special significance.

If possible, stand or sit under the Moon. Allow yourself to feel a direct relationship to it, as a mover of the living waters of the Earth and within our own bodies.

Do a grounding exercise, to bring you out of the chatter of small talk and into ritual space. Feel the earth under your feet and shake out the tension in the body.

Place the large water-filled bowl in front of you, or in the middle of your gathering on a table.

Write what you are releasing on the candle that you will be floating. It’s not important that the writing shows up, just that the intention is there.

As you place the candle into the bowl, declare what you’re releasing.

Light the candle.

Allow yourself to feel the transfer of what you’re releasing to the candle. As a group focus on letting go into the water, holding hands if that feels right.

Celebrate this release by sharing a feast under the full Moon!

Allow the candle to keep burning in the bowl as a symbol of the letting go process. The flame is a purifier, and symbolizes the sparks of inspiration as well. If you blow out your floating candle, and your bowl is in your home, relighting it will remind you of your commitment. Place inspiring pictures and totems around it that remind you of who you’re becoming. Above all, give yourself kudos for honoring your own growth.

On a waning moon, on any day of the week except Saturday, place an ice cube into a bowl next to a white candle. Place lavender in a natural vessel (such as a shell) and white carnations in a vase with water.

Say aloud:

With the help of the guardians,
Goddess and God,
I ask that my fear gently be lifted from me.
As the ice melts
so does my resistance,
and as the water turns to air
my fear opens to spaciousness.
I ask that this be done with ease
and for the greater good.
And I release this with love and trust
and say
so be it.
And so it is.

Let the bowl remain in place until all the water has evaporated. Allow the candle to burn as long as you like.

We should educate people that ‘Witch’ is not evil but ancient and positive. The first time I called myself a ‘Witch’ was the most magical moment of my life.
