Here’s a recipe for a cup of magickal morning brew.
Ingredients:
- 3 pinches ground ginger
- 3 pinches cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- your favorite ground coffee
Directions:
- Add cinnamon to the ground coffee and say: “Cinnamon is for vision, money and love.”
- Add the ginger and say: “Ginger is for strength when push comes to shove.”
- Add the nutmeg and say: “Nutmeg is for vision, good fortune, and wealth.”
- Kiss your fingers and hold them over the coffee and spices, visualizing your love flowing into the coffee, and say: “A kiss keeps you happy and glowing with health.”
- Move your hand in a clockwise direction over the coffee spice mixture three times to blend the energies together, then proceed to brew the coffee in your usual manner.
Note: If you add sugar or cream to your coffee, know that sugar sweetens the experience, and cream smooths the way.

To ensure safety before taking a long trip, get out a map of the area through which you are going to be traveling. Cast a circle, and then, using a green pen, trace the route you’re going to take. After you have done so, take a piece of white chalk and lightly color over the entire itinerary with a thin layer, visualizing the white chalk as a glowing light of protection along the route and say:
“Guard and Guide our trip, and all who venture on this road.
See us safely to our destination, see us safely home.
Blessed be.”
Visualize your self arriving safely. Fold the map, with the crystals inside, and tie it with a white ribbon. Keep it in your alter or in a safe place until you return.
Note: For this spell you will need an actual paper map. If you don’t have one on hand, you can download maps of just about anywhere from On The World Map.
Variations: I think this spell could be very useful if a person wanted to map out their route to success in any endeavor. It would require some creativity and some thought, and might be fun, useful, and interesting.

Draw a pentagram on your car and say:
“Goddess, please hear my plea, come now and attend to me,
Protect this car inside and out, all the while I travel about.
Guide me safely on my way, today and every other day,
Return us home safely, and as I will, so mote it be.”

Items Needed:
- 2 apples
- a knife
Get an apple and cut it in half horizontally across the middle. Once you cut it you will see a five pointed star. Rub ½ of the apple over your face or the affected area. Now say:
“Apple, sacred fruit of the Goddess,
with this gift, I do caress the blemish that brought me shame,
I banish now this affliction in your name”
Now get the other apple and cut it vertically from top to bottom. Rub ½ of the apple over your face or affected area as well. Then say:
“I love and accept myself as I am today,
Clear skin I summon to come my way,
By my will – so mote it be,
Three times three times three”
Bury the first apple by a tree, bush or flower that is outside. Bury the second apple by water. If you can’t find a place with water, just bury it anywhere and pour water over it.

Trace a pentagram over the object that you wish to protect while saying:
“With this pentagram, protection I lay
To guard this object both night and day
And for him who should now touch,
May his body shiver and quake.
I invoke the law of three,
This is my will, so mote it be”

The oak tree is lucky for money and health. Try to catch a falling oak leaf in autumn, before it touches the ground. Keep the leaf safely in your purse or wallet to ensure it will never be empty. If an oak leaf accidentally catches you on your person, this is very lucky and you should keep it safe. Likewise, if a bramble catches on your clothes it is considered lucky.
