Overcoming Obstacles
Sand Spell for Obstacles
So, for today we have a really simple spell to remove obstacles by tapping in to the power of the setting sun.
You will need:
- A handful of sand or dry dirt
Holding the sand in your hand, face the setting Sun and ask His assistance by saying something like:
Ancient Sun, with Your last breath
Send obstacles now to their death
Destroy all fences, break all locks,
Rid me of all stumbling blocks
Bring them all to swift demise
So they can no longer rise
And hold me back from what I need
Or my ability to succeed
Crumble them just as this dust
So I move onward as I must.
Turn in a counterclockwise circle three times, while seeing obstacles being reduced to nothingness. Then, facing the Sun again, blow the sand from your hand. Know that the Sun will handle the problem.

A Tremendous Force
Surely, there must be a tremendous Force, Power, Being or Presence, which has brought forth the sunlight, the rain, or the snow of this day. There is a Something operating invisibly in this universe, sending forth all this glory into expression, a glory of which I am a part, for I, too, have been sent into expression by That which sent forth the flowers and the trees, the birds, and all that is.
I am one with all life. And just as this invisible Force is pouring sunshine into the room, so it is pouring life and being into me, and through me: intelligence, wisdom, guidance, direction, love, care, and protection. All of these are flowing in and through me.

Reflections Of Your Mind

Well, if that is so, then let’s do something with that state of mind, right now.
- If your mind was a landscape, what would it be?
- What “state” would it be in?
Answering these questions out aloud into the room will help describe it in a little more detail.
Now, CHANGE THE LANDSCAPE to make it more to your liking.
If it’s a desert, bring in rain; if it’s a rainy swamp, bring in the sun to dry it up. If it’s a total mess, clear it all out with a nice flood wave and let the waters recede to reveal a whole new landscape, bright and perfect to unfold for you.
Hold that landscape steady whilst you take three deep breaths – and there we are!

Ancestors Cheering
At a Wealth Consciousness workshop, I found out that many people are worried that they will somehow displease their poor and hard working ancestors by becoming extremely rich and successful.
I had a sense that that was probably a misconception, so we did this following exercise to find out.
- In a moment, close your eyes and go to a meeting place where you meet representatives of your ancestral lines.
- Tell them that you want to be rich, powerful and successful and that you want to change the world through your works.
- Then ask them for their support.
You will find that they want nothing more than for YOU to SUCCEED. You are their child, their living representative, and YOUR success is also THEIR SUCCESS.
Let them cheer you and know always that you have THEIR SUPPORT in what you do.

Bonus Marketing For Motivation
You know how folk add “bonuses” to their original core product in order to get people to buy?
It’s a kind of an auction, where you stack up more and more until a threshold breach occurs and then the action takes place – the customer hits the “buy me now” button, the bribed official crumbles and looks the other way, the lady who has been wined, dined, gifted and complimented sighs, “Yes …”
Someone who knows about bonus marketing used this on me today. They kept on upping the offer until I finally said yes and got in the car to drive to their house!
In a moment, think of something you really don’t want to do (but it would be good if you did!) and then, make a list of bonuses you can use to motivate yourself to get up and do it – now!
“If you (phone the accountant, pay your taxes, fire that lazy employee, finally sort out your credit cards, etc etc), then I will (give you a weekend holiday, buy you a new car, let you spend the weekend in bed, allow you to write that novel, etc etc etc).”
This is a fun exercise, so … have a go!

Can the Archangels Help?!
Here, we have an interesting exercise to call in the big cavalry – the Arch Angels, Michael, Uriel, Raphael and Gabriel.
First, we have to orient ourselves in space. Figure out where due south is from where you are facing right now. It doesn’t have to be that accurate, roughly right will do, and if you really can’t figure it out, make a decision right now as to where south is going to be for the purposes of this exercise. The Arch Angels are very forgiving of human fallibility and won’t hold this against you ☺
- In the south resides Arch Angel Michael.
So now, stand up, turn to the South and ask in your own words Michael to help you out, for whatever you need help with right now.
When you have made your request, give a bow and turn to your right.
- That’s west, and here we find Gabriel.
Ask Gabriel for help, give a bow and turn to the right again.
- This is the north, and Uriel.
Ask Uriel for help, thank it with a bow and do the last right turn.
- Now you are facing east, and that is Raphael.
Ask Raphael for help, bow.
For a moment, stand in the center and breathe deeply, then thank them all globally and – return to Earth!

Keeping Your Eye On The Ball
Sometimes, we get so wrapped up in our day to day doings that we forget why we are doing what we are doing.
So today, let’s take a deep breath and remember back to when it was that you started out on this business, this path.
- Why did you choose this?
- What was it about this that excited you above all else?
- What is your business all about in the greater context of your life?
This is what it’s all about – even if you’re doing something mundane or boring.
And it is good to remember that sometimes.

Calvin is RIGHT! Talent, education and genius are nice if you have them, but SUCCESS comes from perseverance.

Let’s take internet marketing. When I started with that, coming up for ten years ago, there were loads of people around then, just as there is now. Ten years on, and out of everyone I knew back then, I am the only one still standing!
I was utterly hopeless back then and still am not exactly a “born marketer”, but you just CAN’T do ANYTHING AT ALL for that long and NOT get reasonably good at it!!
So today, I want you to use our 60 seconds of thinking of something you tried at one time, didn’t succeed and gave it up for a lost cause. Something, that if you had another go and managed to get even a little bit further would seriously help you get wealthy, powerful and happy – right now.

Well, good day to you and today’s “make your dreams come true” item is – record keeping! Yes, delicious, wondrous RECORD KEEPING.
Where would we be without it? Al Capone DIED IN JAIL because he didn’t keep his tax records up to date. Remember that! He just didn’t appreciate the sexy, exciting data base in all its guises and appearances, and of course, he didn’t have a PC to make it easy as well as profitable to keep his records in order.
So for today’s exercise, spend 60 seconds on coming up with an ABSOLUTE decision to improve your record keeping to such elegance and smoothness, the tax people would gasp in adoration!

Pour Out Old Limitations
Let’s make another “astral rubbish collection” using the Thought Flow technique.
- Hold your hands out.
- Imagine that you are holding a sphere in front of you.
- Today, we are going to pour into this sphere our old limitations.
Memories of failure, evil words of criticism, thoughts that undermine you, people who disrespected and hurt you, and all that rubbish from the past that belongs in its rightful time and space – and that ain’t here with us, right now!
- Let all of that stream from you and into the globe.
- Then raise it up, high up over your head, and throw it behind you.
