Calling In A Household Angel
As always, relax and come to center in the way that works best for you.
Calmly contemplate your home, letting your mind wander, for example, around the rooms and the other people who live in it. Then contemplate the angel who could be in your home, its presence bringing a blessing and helping you all to live together in a more harmonious, creative and healing way.
Then, aloud or in your mind, communicate words like:
‘Angel of the home, I invite you to be here.
Angel of the Home I thank you for your presence.’
Feel totally free to use whatever words work for you. Or you may not want to use words at all. You might prefer simply to light a candle and feel yourself inviting in and welcoming the angels presence. It is important that you acknowledge its presence and thank it. Even if you are not certain that it is with you, act as if it is. It will surely be with you, even if you cannot in those moments sense it.
Say, or telepath, words like
‘Angel of the home,
I acknowledge and give thanks for your presence.’
Do not let your intellect get caught up with thoughts such as: ‘I don’t know what this angel is really like…This is just my imagination playing tricks… How can I tell if this is really here… I feel such an idiot.’ Suspend your normal mental disbelief and enter into a more playful and imaginative, more poetic and lyrical dimension. Trust that your invitation and grateful acknowledgement of its presence will work. Simply accept that the angel is already with you.

Angels On The Way
A 3 pack of worker angels is waiting to visit any person who comments on this post inviting them to come. All you need to do is post a comment and say something to the effect of “My name is (your first name) and I’d be happy to welcome the three angels to my home on (date) at (time).
These angels come from a shaman-in-training who received them from a healer in Mexico (or maybe Brazil–that story was a little hazy). You can ask them for 3 wishes, or you can get guidance, help and support.
From previous messages it is reported that the energy of the angels is subtle at first, then very present by day 3 or so. You receive the angels after dark on day one, keep them for another 5 days and send them on to 3 more people after dark on the 6th night, not counting the night they arrived.
Here is what you need to do to receive them:
Prepare a table with 3 white candles in glasses, a bowl of white rice (cooked or uncooked) with a cinnamon stick, 3 flowers, 3 pictures of angels or angel objects of any kind and 1 small jar of honey. At the appointed time you open your window, light the 3 candles, open the honey and welcome them into your home.
On the last night, send the angels to 3 people by opening your window and telling the angels who to visit.
What to ask for:
This is entirely up to each recipient. Here are some ideas: one person asked for clearing of her physical, emotional and home space, another wish included being physically balanced and grounded during the re-wiring of her spiritual expansion and one angel to work on abundance in all its forms. Someone else asked, “One to help me be, another to help me do and one to help me receive.”

Write A Letter To An Angel
Here is something that might be fun. Write a letter to your Angel. You can address it to a Patron Angel, your Guardian Angel, angels in general, or a specific Angel. Write it on white paper with gold or purple ink. Place it on your Angel Altar, or other special magickal place.
Here’s a sample form for a letter to an Angel that I have used in the past. Please feel free to add to it or change it.
In the name of the Almighty (or any name for God that you prefer),
I ask you great Angel (insert name of Angel)
To: (state your need)
I honor you and thank you for receiving my prayer,
As is your holy duty,
In the name of the Almighty,
Thank you.
Note: If you don’t know the name of the Angel, you can always address it to the “great Angel of… and then insert whatever special abilities you require. For example, if you are having car problems, you can call upon the “great Angel in charge of auto repairs.” For healing, you can ask for the “great Angel of Healing,” etc.

Calling On Your Angels
It is very simple to contact your Angels. All you need to do is call them. Many people choose to construct an altar, meditate, light candles, burn incense… there are as many ways to contact Angels, as there are people. It’s all personal preference. Even though these techniques may set the stage, make you more comfortable and make the Angels feel welcomed, this is not necessary.
All you need to do is call out to them. It doesn’t have to be in words, all it needs to be is a thought “Angel, I need your help.” They always come. If you open yourself up to their energy, you will feel their presence.
Once you feel your Angels, ask them questions. Let your mind go blank and allow anything to flow, don’t try to make it happen. You may want to keep a journal and write down anything that comes to mind.
There are many ways to communicate with your Angels, no one way is better than the other. It depends on what is comfortable for you. Some people meditate, while others choose to communicate through dreams.
Some people actually hear the Angels talking to them, while others “feel” what the Angels are saying. Experiment and find what works best for you.
You’ll soon be able to identify your Angels by the way they “feel”. Each Angel has a different energy, just like humans. You may be able to feel their size or color, you may be able to tell how they smell, or how they sound. Again, no one way is better than the other, it’s how the Angels choose to communicate with you and what’s easiest for you to comprehend.
With time you’ll know which Angel is helping you and from there you’ll know what your individual Angels “specialize” in. This was the way I realized my Angel Magda was good at finding lost objects. Every time I turned to my Angels for assistance to help me find things, I came to realize it was Magda who always helped. Now, if I’m looking for something, I simply say “Magda, can you help me find…” It’s not necessary, but it makes the communications a little more personal.

A Shield of Angels
Here is a super simple way to invoke the protective power of angels. I use this whenever I feel that I need an extra shield of protection.
For example:
I used this once when driving in an ice storm on the freeway during rush hour traffic in Chicago with all the windows almost completely iced up. I had never driven in Chicago before, I was really worried that I would miss my turn, plus I was getting low on gas. Also, this was back in the day before cell phones were a thing, so I had no phone, no GPS, and I knew no one in that city.
My exit was coming up, I was in the middle lane with no idea if there were cars next to me or coming up behind me because all I could see out of was a small area in the front windshield that the defroster was keeping clear. So, I invoked the protective power of my angels.. I held my breath, changed lanes and took the exit. I’m 100% convinced that my angels protected me.
Here’s how it works:
Just say the following words, no need to visualize or center or do anything special. Say the words when you have the need. You might feel the angels snap into place. I usually do, but in the beginning I didn’t always feel their presence until after the danger had passed. Here it is:
Angels to the left of me.
Angels to the right of me.
Angels before me.
Angels behind me.
Angels above me.
Angels below me.
Angels all around.
It doesn’t matter if you say it in a different order, and it’s not necessary to say the words out loud. Once the danger has passed, it’s always nice to say thank you.
Looking For An Angel
Finding an angel is not too hard. There is only one requirement – you can’t be kidding around when you call an angel. First, I’d like you to sit back and think seriously about why you want to contact the angelic realms. Be honest with yourself. Is there something you want to improve within yourself or your lifestyle, or is there a rough spot in your life that you would like to smooth out? Are you merely curious?
Take your time.
Got it?
Good. Now, get a piece of paper or an index card and write a want ad for your angel. I kid you not. Sit down and compose an ad as if you were looking for a teacher, a friend, someone who has a service you would like to contact, etc. Here are two sample want ads:
WANTED: Angel from the celestial realms. Seeking an angel who can help me improve my self-image. Need one who can get through my stubborn streak.
SEEKING: Angel who is willing to help me with my money problems. Seeking loving assistance to help me create peace and prosperity in my life.
When you’ve finished the ad, hold it in your hand, close your eyes, and concentrate on bringing a being of light toward yourself. Read your ad out loud if you think it will help. Don’t worry about not doing it right – there is no wrong way to ask an angel to help as long as you use good manners. If you would like to say a little prayer, be my guest. Here’s a good one:
Angelic hosts please hear my call
Bright blessings I extend to all.
East and south, west and north
I circle round and call the forth.
Invisible friend, messenger of love
Send me aid from the realms above.
When you are finished, tuck the card in a pocket or pin it someplace on your clothing where no one can see it. Don’t announce to everyone you know that you’ve just placed a want ad for an angel. We don’t want anyone’s negative thoughts interfering with your project.
After help has arrived and you feel the need to share the information with someone who can use it, then by all means do so. If you have friends or family you know will scoff at you, don’t bother. An old magickal adage is: “Teach not the mysteries to fools.” Others will find their way on their own time without using you as a stepping stone.
Don’t expect your angel to appear to you with trumpets of glory and lights of gold and silver. Angels are often subtle in their work. You may receive a job offer from an unexpected source. A friend may call to pull you out of your doldrums. You may pick up a book and find the answer you were looking for there. When angels are around, there is no such thing as coincidence. It is your job to heighten your sensitivity.
If you open your mental eyes, you will see angels everywhere.
Enlisting Angelic Assistance
Welcome to the 30 day Prosperity Project on Angels. We’ve got lots of cool stuff ready and waiting to be posted for this project thanks to all the wonderful people who emailed me links and pages of information. You are deeply appreciated!
I think it would be a great idea to begin this project by making a list of what it is that we’d like our Angels to assist us with. The list we are making is not a “what I want for Christmas” type list. Nowhere have I read that Angels are like Santa Claus, giving us what we want because we are “good” or “deserving.”
My understanding is that Angels are here to assist us – to give us little nudges in the right direction, to hold us when we feel broken, to whisk us out of harm’s way if we wander too far off the path, to whisper words of encouragement, and to give us strength and support when we need it or ask for it.
It is also my experience that occasionally, angels will facilitate happy coincidences and even small miracles. As we work this project, be on the look out for synchronicity and happy surprises.
So, get out your journal, or grab a piece of paper and a pencil, and jot down what it is that you would ask for if you knew you had an appointment with an Angel tomorrow. Why? Because soon we’re going to make an appointment to meet with an Angel. How fun is that?

Kids Talk About Angels
Tomorrow we’re starting our project on Angels, and I thought it would be fun to share this to help us get excited about it.
This is something cute that someone sent it to me a long time ago, I don’t know if children actually said these things, or if someone was just being clever… and it really doesn’t matter.
- I only know the names of two angels. Hark and Harold.
Gregory~ age 5. - I hear angels all the time in my dreams. And I’m sticking with that no matter how many people tell me I’m crazy.
Molly ~ age 8. - Everybody’s got it all wrong. Angels don’t wear halos anymore. I forget why but scientists are working on it.
Olive ~ age 9, - It’s not easy to become an angel! First, you die. Then you go to heaven then there’s still the flight training to go through. And then you got to agree to wear those angel clothes.
Matthew ~ age 9. - Angels work for God and watch over kids when God has to go do something else.
Mitchell ~ age 7. - My guardian angel helps me with math, but he’s not much good for science.
Henry ~ age 8. - Angels don’t eat but they drink milk from holy cows. Jack ~ age 6.
- Angels talk all the way while they’re flying you up to heaven. The basic message is where you went wrong before you got dead.
Daniel ~ age 9. - When an angel gets mad, he takes a deep breath and counts to ten. And when he lets out his breath, somewhere there’s a tornado.
Regan ~ age 10. - Angels have a lot to do and they keep very busy. If you lose a tooth, an angel comes in through your window and leaves money under your pillow. Then when it gets cold, angels go north for the winter.
Sara ~ age 6. - Angels live in cloud houses made by God and his son, who’s a very good carpenter.
Jared ~ age 8. - All angels are girls because they gotta wear dresses and boys didn’t go for it.
Antonia ~ age 9. - My angel is my grandma who died last year. She got a big head start on helping me while she was still down here on earth.
Katelyn ~ age 9. - Some of the angels are in charge of helping heal sick animals and pets. And if they don’t make the animals get better, they help the kid get over it.
Vicki ~ age 8. - What I don’t get about angels is why, when someone is in love, they shoot arrows at them.
Sarah ~ age 7.

Finally Another Project!
Ok guys, I’ve decided to jump in again with another project. We did do a project on Angelic Assistance way back in 2008 when The Prosperity Project lived at blogger.com. Some of the things I learned and experienced as a result of that project has stuck with me through the years, and I think it’s time for a revisit.
Some of the questions I’d like to explore are:
- Are Angels real?
- Can we ask them to help us?
- How does one go about communicating with Angels?
- If we ask for their help, will we get it?
- What kinds of things will Angels help us with?
For 30 days, beginning on Sunday, April 23 we will be working to get to know our guardian angels, and figuring out the best ways to communicate with them and secure their assistance.
