Still Praying For Prosperity
Welcome to day three of the prosperity project. Melissa has a travel store, and her link has been added to the side bar. If anyone else has something they want me to post there, just let me know.
Oops! I just noticed that I must have the “archive” settings on weekly instead of monthly because the first post.. Prayer does it work? has been moved to archives.
So today I am going to see if I can retrieve it and fix the settings so that our project isn’t archived until 30 days is up. Whenever I begin a new project, it is usually somewhere around the 3rd or 4th day that problems begin to creep in and I begin to question myself… and this project is no exception… Does that happen to you guys too?
Anyway.. I spent about 45 minutes trying to think of something inspiring, clever, interesting, or important to say this morning.. and the best I could come up with was this!

I think it's time to go shopping... maybe even buy some really cool stuff at my online shops!!
Okay it is 4:06pm and I was just now able to get through on the prayer line. I have been trying off and on all day and it has been really busy. My prayer partner today was pleasant, some what peaceful and a little matter of fact which actually felt reassuring. Like she just knew the truth of what she was saying on every level of her being. Which made me feel the truth of it also. I am still not more prosperous but today I went shopping like I was. I did not purchase anything extravagent or that met my criteria for my prosperity goal but it was still a fun day of bargain shopping with friends. Maybe acting prosperous in the way of shopping with a light heart will transform into the real thing?
Well, I did find a $49 check in my purse that I thought I had already cashed. I don’t know if that counts or not, since it was there before we started our project.
I did call for prayer and one of the things the prayer person said was something about how prosperity is actually an awareness of Spirit in every area of my life. That was interesting, and something to think about. So that’s about it for me today.
Well, I have had some things happen. Yesterday when my husband was leaving work he asked a co-worker if he could borrow a dollar for something to drink on the way home. The guy gave him 15 dollars and said to pay him back when ever he could. Then today before I called in to the prayer line. My husband was scrounging around for change, because he wanted a 22 oz beer, I wanted a fountain drink. We didn’t have enough for both so I said for him to go ahead and get his beer. When he came home he had both. How you ask? Well, I guess a guy had just bought a scratcher lottery ticket, and won 50 dollars! He was so happy that he offered to buy my husband his beer! So he was able to, with the oringinal change get me my drink! That is so awesome!!! I called in to Unity a little while ago and had a very peaceful prayer experience. I really hope that the prosperity keeps coming in and getting bigger, I hope to have a hot water heater by the end of the 30 days.
well, I think that I had the same person pray with me as yesterday…what are the odds of that? but she had a very distinctive voice, and it just sounded like her. she was awake and succinct, she did a fine job.
As far as prosperity and abundance…..
well, i ‘won’ something from a used car dealership but they wouldn’t tell me what it was unless i would drive 35 miles to look at their cars, even though it was a ‘no purchase necessary’ deal. in the end i got him to admit it was just a promotion and likely it wouldn’t be worth the gas money to see what it was. i think that was prosperity’s evil twin, ripoff.
as far as abundance is concerned….well….my abundance of children left an abundance of crumbs in the dining room floor, and an abundance of toys in the bedroom floor, and then there was the abundance of dog diarrhea that i woke up to this morning, which took an abundance of paper towels to clean up.
Perhaps I should have been a little more specific. Today I prayed for FINANCIAL abundance.
I called again for prayer today – it was a really LOOONNNGGG prayer – but it was a good one. I think any “Found” money during our 30 days counts. If it weren’t for our prayers, perhaps the money wouldn’t have been found at all, or not for a long time, so perhaps our prayers sped up the process of us finding it!
