If you want big money for the good things in life, the Prosperity area is where to get it. If you need money to get out of the hole or just to pay monthly bills, the Family area will help you to acquire basic maintenance money so you can focus on the good stuff. We will get to the Family area later this month.

Feng Shui activity for today:
Add a symbol that reminds you of wealth and abundance.

This area of the home is also for blessings, so it’s a good area where you can acknowledge what you have been blessed with already.

Put a photo of your dream house, dream car, dream vacation in this area. You can cut out a picture from a magazine – but remember, the universe takes you literally, so be careful when you place your “order.”

Get the cash flowing with moving water – guppies in a glass, or a waterfall. Just make sure the water is clean and isn’t the toilet. You can even hang a picture of a waterfall.

• Add a round-leaved plant such as a jade plant or an African violet. Keep the plants friendly (no cactus) and healthy (no plant hospitals!)
• Use a moving object to get the chi moving around you.
• Place a full piggy bank or the Boardwalk and Park Place Monopoly game pieces in this area.
• Fan nine dollar bills out and place them behind furniture to get the money flowing.
