Well? How did we do?
Now that our project is complete, how did we do? Thirty days ago, when we got started with this project, I thought it might be interesting to get a general picture of our lives as they were in the moment. Now that our project is complete, it’s a good time to take a look back and see what – if anything – has changed. Here are the questions I asked initially:
- Your life is a glass, your prosperity is the water… how full is your glass?
- Your bank account is a pie… is it mostly crumbs? or are there some pieces on that plate?
- If life is a journey, and a happy fulfilled life is your destination… what do you see ahead? Impassible mountains? A giant swamp? A well traveled path? Tracks in the mud? A stunning view? Quicksand? Home Sweet Home? What?
- Rate your average daily experience of your life from 1 to 10, 1 being it really really sucks and 10 being amazingly awesome.
Here are the questions I’m curious to know the answers to:
- Well, what do you think?
- Was this project helpful?
- Has listening to the chants and the talks improved your life in any way?
- Did you enjoy the project?
- If not – why not. and if so – what did you like about it.
As always, comments, experiences, and insights, are deeply appreciated.

I did enjoy the project quite a lot. It was the first project ever that was completely prescheduled which means that I wasn’t scrambling to stay ahead of it ,… which was nice.
I loved his little talks and the chants but I did not listen every day … I did, however, get something useful and inspiring out of each talk that I did listen to.
I would definitely recommend him to a friend, and I will continue to listen to him. I was thinking I might make his talks my new “church” and listen to something every Sunday.
As far as my progress, monetarily it seems the same, but I have had a great thing happen in that I am getting an extra day off all summer long… which is awesome…
Also, I am feeling a little more content with my life as it is.
All in all I rate this as a success and well worth anyone’s time to do.
I didn’t want this project to end. I really enjoyed listening to him and I’m going to continue to listen him. I tried to listen every day and if I missed a day I got caught up the next day. I even watched some of his other videos that weren’t on this project.
How did it work?
Well I think it worked really good for me. James got a cash job that he’s been wanting and that we’ve been needing for a long time. Out of the blue I got a 7$ settlement check from some lawsuit on tracphone wireless. James was able to work for my mom to make some cash and we were able to give both of the cats flea medicine(thank you mom). Also James has been getting called into work a lot so he has been able to get extra hours.
Comparison from start of project
My glass only has enough water to keep you alive but we have finally found some more water and we are on our way there now.
The pie plate now has a few crumbs and we found some more pie that is baking right now.
I feel like the mud has dried a little and we got some climbing gear to help scale the mountains.
I rate my average days to be 7- 8.
All in all I feel like this project was a success and I truly loved it!
