I’m not sure that I entirely agree with the preposition that prayer is more powerful when spoken… for me it feels more powerful if I begin out loud and then allow it to settle within… out loud keeps me more outside myself… anyone else have any ideas about it?

I agree, it seems to disrupt things for me when I say it loud. I alternate between whispering and inside my head.
