This liquid is used as a hexing agent. Write your problem on paper and soak the paper in the vinegar. Allow it to dry and then burn it to be rid of the problem.

To make Four Thieves Vinegar, take a bottle of apple cider vinegar and add the following herbs in handfuls.

  • Rosemary
  • Wormwood
  • Rue
  • Camphor (optional)
  • Patchouli

Heat the mixture to almost boiling once a day for four days in a row. Strain and cap it tightly. Store in a dark place.

Note: There are a number of different recipes for the Four Thieves Vinegar, and this is just one of them.

  • Vervain leaves – 4 stalks worth
  • Honey 1/4 cup
  • Florida water or other perfume (a few dabs)
  • 1-1/2 cups of water

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Combine this in a gallon jug and fill with warm water.

Stand in shower and dump mixture all over, then just towel off. Its an invigorating herbal wash that is great after ritual or when you feel slightly off kilter.

Note: I like the combination, and I do think it would be very grounding – however, if you’re worried that it sounds like it would be sticky, I would recommend this variation:

Combine the Honey, the Vervain, and the Florida Water (or perfume of your choice) with cornmeal to the consistency of a scrub. Scrub your body and then rinse with lots of warm spring water.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup salt
  • 5 drops cherry oil
  • 2 drops anise oil

Add the essential oils drop by drop, one ingredient at a time, until the scent seems right. Mix with a spoon (or shake) until all salt particles are moistened. Be prepared to spend some time doing this, perhaps a half hour or so. Here is where a plastic bag comes in handy!

If the Bath Salts are mixed for a ritual purpose, visualize the energies within the oils merging with each other and with the salt as you mix. Keep the salt’s goal in mind while you stir. Use or store until needed.

Lightly mix the ingredients together and place them in a jar for storage. A great prosperity blend.

  • 1 cup salt
  • 8 drops lotus oil
  • 2 drops cinnamon oil
  • 8 drops sandalwood oil
  • 3 drops myrrh oil
  • 2 drops allspice oil

The following magickal rhyme is a powerful witches incantation that can be used for any potion you brew-up, recite it while visualizing your intent within your mind’s eye, you may repeat it several times out loud or to yourself:

“Herbal potion, cauldron brew, now be charged with magick true.
With intent I speak this charm,, all be blessed and none be harmed.
Ever minding the law of three, This is my will, so mote it be”

Drink this tea an hour before undertaking any form of divination. If you wish, you can continue sipping it throughout the divination process.

  • 3 tsp rose petals
  • 1 tsp jasmine flowers
  • 2 crushed bay leaves
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

Note: This blend is for one person and is intended to have half a pint of boiling water poured over it. Allow the infusion to stand for 10 minutes before straining and do not stir, as this bruises the plants. Obviously, you can adjust the amount of water or standing time to your own taste. If you prefer your tea sweet, add a little honey, not sugar, to the strained infusion.
