Creating a purifying salt bath (to purify your aura), filled with eucalyptus (to aid in healing emotional ailments), lavender (to help you relax), rose quartz (to mend your heart and confidence), amethyst (to revive and treat your emotional upsets), and moonstone (to evoke the Moon Goddess in balancing out your best emotions) will boost your auric field and attune your inner vibration, allowing you to release old sentiments by cleansing your body, mind, and spirit.
Moon Water Recipe
- 6 drops of Eucalyptus Oil or Eucalyptus Leaves
- 4 Lavender Oil or Fresh Lavender
- Rose Quartz
- Amethyst Crystal
- Moonstone
- Himalayan Sea Salt, Epson Salt, or Kosher Salt
Place rose quartz, amethyst, and moonstone in a cup of water. Charge a cup of water under the Moon’s glow during the day. You can leave the cup by the window sill to absorb the lunar energy.
The Bath
Run a warm bath. Put a cup of salt in the bath water. Place 6 drops of eucalyptus oil or leaves in bath (the number 2 is the numerological number of the Moon, therefore, we are using even numbers to honor the Moon Goddess). Place 4 drops of lavender oil or flowers in bath. Add the rose quartz, amethyst, and moonstone to water.
Enter bath and close your eyes, meditating on the stillness of your mind and the warmth of the water. Put on soothing music, lay in the bath. Let the water heal your mind, body, spirit, and heart by washing away the pain and frustrations you feel within.

Camphor is under the dominion of the moon. The lunar palace of Lady Chang’O is allegedly crafted from cinnamon wood, however both true cinnamon and camphor derive from trees of the Cinnamonium family. Maybe the Moon Lady’s palace was actually built from camphor wood.
Because of this connection, camphor can transmit some of the moon’s protective and luck drawing powers. Here’s how:
Charge spring water with lunar energies by filling a white, blue, or silver container with clear spring water and then leaving it in a windowsill or outdoors on a full moon night. The next day, dissolve a camphor square into the lunar-charged spring water.
Use this water to cleanse appropriate magical tools so that they may be used to fulfill your wishes and be imbued with the power of the moon.
NOTE:
Be careful, camphor can also be toxic.
Place one teaspoon of dried basil in a cup of boiling water. Leave for five minutes, and then strain.
Add the liquid to your bath water to bring a protective and cleansing influence. This herbal bath is particularly useful to rid oneself of the negative feelings left by contact with those who are controlling.
Run a nice hot bath. While the water is running, add the following:
- 1/2 cup vinegar,
- a bunch of fresh rue
- 1 tablespoon of salt in your bath.
Light a white and a blue candle. Get into the tub, and as you soak, imagine yourself surrounded by blue light, giving you positive energy.
When you pull the plug and the water begins to drain, visualize all of the negative energy leaving your body through every pore. Fill a container with clear fresh warm water and rinse off any remaining residue.
