Prosperity Blends

Discover the magic of food by utilizing the energy contained within. The preparation of food, with a particular intention in mind, is old magic. Look at food as sacred, let the act of preparing, cooking and eating food be a sacred act. Your kitchen can be a place of powerful magic, work slowly and deliberately to hone your craft.

With that in mind, here’s a recipe for Blackberry Prosperity Pie

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh blackberries,
  • ½ cup white sugar,
  • ready made dessert pastry – one to line pie dish one to cover fruit,
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ¼ cup white sugar.

Line a 9 inch pie dish.

Mix 3 ½ cups berries with sugar and flour, spoon mixture into uncooked pastry shell. Spread the remaining ½ cup berries on top of the sweetened berries, and cover with the top pastry. Seal and pinch the edges. Brush the top crust with milk, and sprinkle with ¼ cup sugar.

Bake at 220 C for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature of the oven to 190 C and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes. When ready, remove from the oven and serve with fresh whipped cream.

The optimum time to make this oil is 5 days following the new moon. But it can be made any time during the new or crescent moon phase.

Supplies:

  • A small item made of gold
  • Olive oil
  • Small clean container (preferably glass) with a tight fitting lid
  • Powdered cinnamon or cinnamon essential oil

Instructions:

  • Place the item made of gold into the container
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or a drop of cinnamon essential oil
  • Pour enough olive into the container to cover the item and fill the container to the halfway mark.

Cradle the container in your hands and think about how grateful and happy you are for the prosperity that you already have, and for the prosperity that is coming to you.

Then gently breathe this gratitude and happiness into the container, continue to breathe it into the container until it has been filled the rest of the way to the top with loving gratitude.

Put the lid on the container, and tighten it.

Tap the lid with your middle finger once and say:
“Thank you to the Father”
Tap the lid with your middle finger a second time and say:
“Thank you to the Mother”
Tap the lid with your middle finger for a third time and say:
“Thank you to the Living Spirit in all things”

This prosperity oil will gradually increase in potency as the moon waxes toward full, and can be used at any time.

On the full moon:

  • Remove the gold item – and gently and lovingly clean it.
  • Drop a pinch of powdered ginger into the container.

Cradle the container in your hands and think about how grateful and happy you are for the prosperity that you already have, and for the prosperity that is coming to you.

Put the lid on the container, and tighten it.

Tap the lid with your middle finger once and say
“Thank you to the Father”
Tap the lid with your middle finger a second time and say
“Thank you to the Mother”
Tap the lid with your middle finger for a third time and say
“Thank you to the Living Spirit in all things”

Hints and tips:

If it seems that there is no prosperity in your life to be grateful for, think of something that makes you happy, or someone you love.

A Sacajawea gold dollar is a great item to use – and they can be purchased for $1 at your local bank.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup salt
  • 5 drops cherry oil
  • 2 drops anise oil

Add the essential oils drop by drop, one ingredient at a time, until the scent seems right. Mix with a spoon (or shake) until all salt particles are moistened. Be prepared to spend some time doing this, perhaps a half hour or so. Here is where a plastic bag comes in handy!

If the Bath Salts are mixed for a ritual purpose, visualize the energies within the oils merging with each other and with the salt as you mix. Keep the salt’s goal in mind while you stir. Use or store until needed.

The Oils:

  • 4 parts Patchouli
  • 3 parts Cypress
  • 1 part Vetivert

Color: Green

Uses:

For use in attuning with the Earth, or for rituals involving money, foundation, stability, creativity, fertility, ecology, etc.

Note:

The proportions here, though for essential oils, are by parts. One part may equal six drops. Generally speaking, there shouldn’t be more than ten total drops of essential oil per half-cup of bath salts. Experiment to find what works best, and please use only genuine essential oils. You should remember, too, the irritating qualities of some essential oils, and use accordingly.

Bath Salts:

To make bath salts add this oil blend to the recipe found in: Bath Salts Basics

Herbal powders have long been used to improve the quality of a person’s life. Here is one herbal potion that will make you prosperous. Take equal amounts of ground cloves, cinnamon, mustard seed, and ginger and grind in a mortar and pestle to a fine powder. Visualize the mixture drawing wealth to you as you work.

Sprinkle some of the powder around your home. Toss it in corners. Add some to the change in your wallet and any other place you stash money. Make some up into sachets and tuck into drawers or add to baskets where you keep your mail and bills. Be creative in how you use the powder, and money will find you in creative ways.
