Said to help increase your own power. Anoint on the forehead, throat, breast bone, and above the navel. Useful in any ritual when designed to increase your own power in any situation. Anoint on charms for psychic and spiritual development.
Mix together equal parts of grated lemon peel or lemon flowers and frankincense. Add two tablespoons of the powder to two ounces of oil.
Mix two parts of sandalwood, patchouli leaves and myrrh, with one part of five-finger grass. Add two tablespoons of this mixture to two ounces of oil. Put a pinch of blessed salt and eight drops of household ammonia to each 1 oz bottle of oil made. Shake well before each use.
This incense formula may be used in your rituals to destroy an enemy’s power to harm you. Can also be used as an “Uncrossing Incense”.
- 1 oz powdered Sandalwood
- 1/2 oz powdered Bay leaves
- 1/2 oz powdered Dill seed
- 1 tsp Asafoetida
- 1/4 tsp Saltpeter
- 1 dram Uncrossing Oil
- 2 drams of tincture of Benzoin
Powder all the solid ingredients and mix them well with your mortar and pestle. Mix all the liquid ingredients and dissolve the saltpeter in them. Slowly add the liquid ingredients to your powdered herbs. Spread in a tin pan or plastic container and allow to dry for 30 minutes to an hour.
When dry, simply crumble up and you have your incense. The traditional method of burning this type of incense is by placing it on a hot charcoal in your incense burner.
This is one of the easiest projects, and was created by our 8-year-old, Willow. Take colored eggshells (she was partial to blue), and grind to a fine powder. Toss in a pinch of rose petals, and you have instant “egg fairy dust.” Of course, she thinks this powder attracts eggplant fairies, so who are we to argue? *smile*
