Incantation
Bring Us The Power
Blessed Am I
This is a really nice Self Blessing. It was written with a feminine slant, but can be reworded to fit any gender.
Blessed am I – for I am the Goddess,
Blessed is my crown – for I am aware of myself,
Blessed is my brain – for I can think with reason and logic,
Blessed are my eyes – for I can see color and shape,
Blessed are my ears – for I can hear words and melody,
Blessed is my mouth – for I can kiss and talk and sing.
Blessed is my throat – for I can bridge between from within and without,
Blessed are my shoulders – for I can bear burdens,
Blessed are my arms – for I can reach out to you and my world,
Blessed are my breasts – for I can give nourishment and I can receive pleasure.
Blessed are my hands – for I can do and make and hold,
Blessed is my heart – for I beat the rhythm of the cosmos,
Blessed is my stomach – for I can feed my needs,
Blessed is my navel – for I am connected to my mother,
Blessed is my gut – for I can feel what I do not want,
Blessed is my womb – for I can generate new beginnings.
Blessed is my clitoris – for I can spin sweet energy,
Blessed is my vagina – for I can receive into myself,
Blessed is my anus – for I can rid myself of what is finished,
Blessed are my legs – for I can move in any direction,
Blessed are my feet – for I can stand firm on the Earth,
Blessed am I, for I am the Goddess.

Incantation To Plants
The following is an “Incantation To Plants,” written by the Greek physicians of Alexandria (which explains both the usage of Greek and Egyptian gods), which would be used while watering or collecting plants.
You were sown by Cronos
Made welcome by Hera,
Protected by Ammon,
Born of Isis,
Nourished by Zeus of the Rains.
You have grown by favor of the Sun
and of the dew.
You are the dew of all the gods,
The heart of Hermes,
The seed of the high gods,
The eye of the Sun,
The light of the Moon,
The dignity of Osiris,
The beauty and the glory of the sky,
The soul of the Daimon of Osiris, who feasts in all places,
The breath of Ammon.
Rise up, as you caused Osiris to rise up;
Lift yourself up like the Sun.
You are as tall as the zenith;
Your roots are deep also as the abyss.
Your virtues are in the heart of Hermes;
Your branches are the bones of Mnevis
Your flower, the eye of Horus,
Your seeds, the seed of Pan.
I purify you with resin even as the gods,
For my good health;
Be purified also by my prayer and be powerful,
For our sake, as Ares or Athene.
I am Hermes.
I pick (water, tend) you with good luck, and with the Good Daimon,
And at the propitious hour,
On the day which is right and propitious for all things.

God To Enfold Me
God to enfold me,
God to surround me,
God in my speaking,
God in my thinking.
God in my sleeping,
God in my waking,
God in my watching,
God in my hoping.
God in my life,
God in my lips,
God in my soul,
God in my heart.
God in my sufficing,
God in my slumber,
God in mine ever-living soul,
God in mine eternity.

Hymn to Mars
Oh! Help us, ye Household Gods!
Oh! Help us, ye Household Gods!
Oh! Help us, ye Household Gods!
And let not bane and bale, O Marmor Mars, assail more folk!
And let not bane and bale, O Marmor Mars, assail more folk!
And let not bane and bale, O Marmor Mars, assail more folk!
Be full satisfied, fierce Mars, Leap the Threshold! Hah! Beat the ground!
Be full satisfied, fierce Mars, Leap the Threshold! Hah! Beat the ground!
Be full satisfied, fierce Mars, Leap the Threshold! Hah! Beat the ground!
By turns address ye all the Half-Gods.
By turns address ye all the Half-Gods.
By turns address ye all the Half-Gods.
Oh! Help us, Marmor!
Oh! Help us, Marmor!
Oh! Help us, Marmor!
Bound bound and bound again, bound and bound again!

The Prayer To Selene For Any Spell
“Come to me, O Beloved Mistress, Three-faced
Selene; kindly hear my Sacred Chants;
Night’s Ornament, young, bringing Light to Mortals,
O Child of Morn who ride upon the Fierce Bulls,
O Queen who drive Your Car on Equal Course
With Helios, who with the Triple Forms
Of Triple Graces dance in Revel with
The Stars. You’re Justice and the Moira’s Threads:
Klotho and Lachesis and Atropos
Three-headed, You’re Persephone, Megaira,
Allekto, Many-Formed, who arm Your Hands
With Dreaded, Murky Lamps, who shake Your Locks
Of fearful Serpents on Your Brow, who sound
The Roar of Bulls out from Your Mouths, whose Womb
Is decked out with the Scales of Creeping Things,
With Pois’nous Rows of Serpents down the Back,
Bound down Your Backs with Horrifying Chains
Night-Crier, Bull-faced, loving Solitude,
Bull-headed, You have Eyes of Bulls, the Voice
Of Dogs; You hide Your Forms in Shanks of Lions,
Your Ankle is Wolf-shaped, Fierce Dogs are dear
To You, wherefore they call You Hekate,
Many-named, Mene, cleaving Air just like
Dart-shooter Artemis, Persephone,
Shooter of Deer, night shining, triple-sounding,
Triple-headed, triple-voiced Selene
Triple-pointed, triple-faced, triple-necked,
And Goddess of the Triple Ways, who hold
Untiring Flaming Fire in Triple Baskets,
And You who oft frequent the Triple Way
And rule the Triple Decades, unto me
Who’m calling You be gracious and with Kindness
Give Heed, You who protect the Spacious World
At night, before whom Daimons quake in Fear
And Gods Immortal tremble, Goddess who
Exalt Men, You of Many Names, who bear
Fair Offspring, Bull-eyed, Horned, Mother of Gods
And Men, and Nature, Mother of All Things,
For You frequent Olympos, and the broad
And boundless Chasm You traverse. Beginning
And End are You, and You Alone rule All.
For All Things are from You, and in You do
All Things, Eternal One, come to their End.
As Everlasting Band around Your Temples
You wear Great Kronos’ Chains, unbreakable
And unremovable, and You hold in
Your Hands a Golden Scepter. Letters ’round
Your Scepter Kronos wrote Himself and gave
To You to wear that All Things stay steadfast:
Subduer and subdued, Mankind’s Subduer,
And Force-subduer; Chaos, too, You rule.
Hail, Goddess, and attend Your Epithets,
I burn for You this Spice, O Child of Zeus,
Dart-shooter, Heav’nly One, Goddess of Harbors,
Who roam the Mountains, Goddess of Crossroads,
O Nether and Nocturnal, and Infernal,
Goddess of Dark, Quiet and Frightful One,
O You who have Your Meal amid the Graves,
Night, Darkness, Broad Chaos: Necessity
Hard to escape are You; You’re Moira and
Erinys, Torment, Justice and Destroyer,
And You keep Kerberos in Chains, with Scales
Of Serpents are You dark, O You with Hair
Of Serpents, Serpent-girded, who drink Blood,
Who bring Death and Destruction, and who feast
On Hearts, Flesh Eater, who devour Those Dead
Untimely, and You who make Grief resound
And spread Madness, come to my Sacrifices,
And now for me do You fulfill this Matter.”
From the Greek Magical Papyri
Isis Heed My Call
O Isis, heed my call this night,
If it is time for my spirit to flee this shell,
then send those who will
guide me to your light!
Grant me rest O Beloved Mother,
for Your child is wracked with pain.
If my time has yet to come,
help me Great One to heal from within.
O Isis, heed my call this night!

Incantation Against Sickness
O malady, disappear into the heavens;
pain, rise up to the clouds;
inflamed vapour, fly into the air,
in order that the wind may take the away,
that the tempest may chase thee to distant regions,
where neither sun nor moon give their light,
where the warm wind does not inflame the flesh.
