Increase Money – Decrease Money Problems
Here is a simple charm to Increase Money and Decrease Money Problems:
On the night of the crescent moon, place a coin on a windowsill with the head facing up. This encourages money to increase.
Leave it there until the moon is full, then flip the coin so the tails side is facing up. This encourages money problems to diminish.
Then, keeping in harmony with the moon phases, finish the spell by removing the coin on a new or full moon.
Hints and tips:
Any coin can be used for this charm. Wash the coin first in warm soapy water, and then rinse with fresh cold water. To increase the effectiveness of this spell, use a silver dollar, or a coin that has significance to you – such as a quarter from the state in which you live, or a coin minted the same year you were born, etc.

Urgent Money Spell
The Romanies say that when money is urgently needed by a certain date, this spell works wonders. One thing to remember: it must be performed at the witching hour of midnight.
Take one white votive (or tea light) candle to represent each $100 or $1,000 that you critically need. Stand them on a plate you often eat from.
At a quarter to midnight, sit in a room with no electric lights. Light a gold or silver, green or white candle (not one of those representing the needed money). This is the candle that will give power to the “money” votive candles and will enable you to see what you are doing.
Now work your magic. Pray for a circle of gold light to be placed around you for protection and for a circle of blue light to be placed around you for healing.
Pick up a votive candle and light it from the main candle flame. As you do so, say that the votive you are lighting represents the $100 or $1000 you need. Place on the plate to begin a circle of “money” candles.
Light each votive, and say the same words for each, until the circle is complete.
Say a prayer explaining that you are not being greedy; that the money is necessary. Leave the candles to burn out of their own accord. The money will soon start winging its way to you.

Stomping Out Problems
Here is a spell to remove a problem. Write the problem on the sole of an old shoe. Put the shoe on, stomp on the problem three times, then take the shoe off and burn it in a fire.

Flush Those Bills Away
Here is something easy and simple. It’s probably not an “authentic” gypsy magic spell, but I think it’s worth doing. Here’s how it goes:
- List your bills separately on toilet paper.
- And flush the toilet paper down the toilet.
As you are doing this, remember that what comes in must also go out. And that’s OK. Because you are in the flow. Prosperity flows through you just as easily as the water that you see swirling down and out.
As soon as that tank fills up, you will be able to flush again. As soon as your check book fills up you will be able to pay bills again. No worries.. no fears..
It’s a flow.. money comes in.. money goes out..
Money Drawing Oil
Many Romanies roll their bills rather than keeping them flat. Smearing the outside bill with Money Drawing Oil is believed to attract cash.
Here’s a recipe:
- 3 drops Wood Marjoram oil
- 2 drops Lemon oil
- 2 drops Eucalyptus oil
- sweet Almond oil
Fill a small bottle (1 dram) half full of sweet almond oil. Add the essential oils and mix well. Store in a cool dry place.
Note: Wood Marjoram, Thymus mastichina, is also known as Spanish Marjoram, White Thyme, Wild Marjoram or Mastic Thyme. It might be a little bit hard to find. Rosemary can be substituted.
A Gypsy Medicine Bag
Here is a Medicine Bag to be carried or worn to facilitate healing. Gather the following ingredients:
- A sprig each of St. John’s wort, woundwort, and self-heal
- Twig or leaf from an oak tree
- Tiny water-worn pebble, which should be round or disc-shaped and preferably have a reddish or orange hue
- Light downy feather
- Scrap of red flannel or woolen cloth.
- Red, orange, and light blue thread
- Red drawstring bag
- Sandalwood or Myrrh essential oil
Bind the herbs and feather round with a cord made from plaiting (braiding) red, orange, and light blue thread together. Wrap the herbs together with the pebble in the red cloth and tie with another length of the plaited cord. Put in a red drawstring bag, and perfume with the sandalwood or myrrh oil.

Make A Gypsy Mojo Bag
A Parik-til is the Gypsy version of a medicine or mojo bag. To create a parik-til, a small drawstring pouch is made in the appropriate color for the intended purpose. Into this goes various little objects: herbs, stones, feathers, sometimes a charm or piece of paper inscribed with a simple spell. This list is endless; it is only important that the objects seem sympathetic to your purpose.
Collect leaves and twigs of the oak tree, including a small acorn if available, the petals and/or seeds of the sunflower, a piece of cinnamon stick, three cloves, a stone that feels lucky for you, a horseshoe charm if you can find one – or a small picture or hand drawn symbol to represent a horse shoe, and a little trinket such as a bit of jewelry or a coin.
Feel free to add anything else that seems relevant, or meaningful to you. Tie the oak leaves and twigs with a bit of green yellow and orange thread. Put all the items into a drawstring bag. Perfume with an essential oil such as Myrrh, Benzoin, Cinnamon, or Patchouli, or dab with prosperity oil.
Hold the bag in your hands and feel the energy contained within. Parik-til means blessing holder, the objects inside the bag are symbols of the blessings you are holding. Take a few minutes to allow yourself to really feel it.

Making Miracles Happen
Gypsies are famous for their “happy go lucky” attitude. Here is a small but significant “affirmation” or “charm” to do each morning. Begin your day by saying out loud and with conviction:
“A miracle is going to happen today.”
This attracts good fortune and has a magnetic and cumulative effect. Within a short space of time, you will receive a fantastic telephone call, or letter, or you will meet with someone who will change your life for the better.

For Harmony With Your Neighbors
Disruptive neighbors who upset the harmony of your home can be tamed quite simply. Place small hand mirrors on windowsills facing their home. These reflect back whatever is being sent to you. As you place the mirrors, say:
“Return to sender.”
If the spell is done with an attitude of love, that positive emotion will be reflected back to you, and no anger is attached to your actions, your neighbors will respond to your influence without realizing why.
One really unobtrusive and beautiful way to do this is to place a mirror in a frame that resembles a window and then hang it on your outside wall. The image in this post is just such a mirror.
Break a Streak of Bad Luck
Go for a walk and pick up seven twigs from the ground, one to represent each day of the week. Traditionally, the twigs should be ash for Monday, beech for Tuesday, elm for Wednesday, oak for Thursday, horse chestnut for Friday, yew for Saturday, and elder for Sunday.
Take them home, snap them into pieces, and burn them in the hearth or a bonfire. Say:
Ill luck is broken,
As these words are spoken.
